I also thank my parents, Jack and Rita Evans, for their inspiration and support. Jack Evans was a fine attorney and public servant who showed me the value of editorial contributions through his service as editor of the Mercer County Law Journal. Rita Evans inspired her six children to seek to excel and she taught us practical business accounting, finance, and operations using our various newspaper routes—getting the papers to customers, collecting from customers, and paying the route manager.
