It has been an honor and pleasure for us to serve as guest co-editors for this special section of the Journal of Information Systems on the topic of AIS and ethics. We thank Mary Curtis and Roger Debreceny (senior editors) for this opportunity and for their kind guidance through the entire process of publishing this special section. We also thank the reviewers for their timely, valuable, and constructive feedback, as well as the authors—those who submitted and those whose manuscripts are published herein. They have shared with us new ways of thinking about AIS and ethics, and highlighted a variety of ways that these two disciplines interact.
