This section provides the suggested solutions and notes for each case question. These solutions and notes are intended to provide starting points for the direction and structure of class discussions. These notes are informed by instructors’ experience when facilitating case discussions. They are not intended to be exhaustive, as students’ answers and opinions vary widely based on their educational background and work experience. The case questions are deliberately open-ended, often with no one right or wrong answer, to accommodate a diversity of views. A grading rubric is also included in  Appendix A of these Teaching Notes if the instructor wishes to grade students’ responses to the case questions, for example, the questions were set as the basis of an assessable exercise. This rubric example would need to be adapted on a case-by-case basis depending on the course objectives and level of study being undertaken by students.
