Ford's sustainability report states (p. 63) that it is prepared in accordance with Global Reporting Institute (GRI) Standards at a comprehensive level. As an international company following GRI sustainability standards, Ford must consider multiple stakeholder-related perspectives and concerns in its sustainability reports, including those of society at large. Ford's sustainability report also serves as its annual communication on progress in the implementation of the ten United Nations (UN) Global Compact principles, as well as support for UN Sustainable Development Goals and UN Guiding Principles Reporting Framework on reporting human rights issues (UN 2015, 2017). Table 1 shows broadly the GRI, SASB, and IIRC's mission, guidelines, and stakeholder group(s).
