The author metadata for authors David A. Wood, Bryan D. Wood, and Jessica Wood are inadvertently listed as having the same ORCID. This error was not introduced by the authors of the paper. The error in the digital record has been corrected.

The authors regret a misspecification in how the coauthors were referred to in the paper. To more accurately describe the nature of the coauthor group, a footnote has been added on page 82 of the text in which the authors state, “To evaluate ChatGPT’s performance on accounting-specific content, we assembled a crowdsourced team of 327 coauthors who provided data from 186 educational institutions around the world.” The footnote states, “Coauthors included...
