This annual report describes the operations of The Accounting Review (TAR) during the second year (6/1/2012–5/31/2013) of my three-year term as senior editor with Stacy Hoffman as editorial assistant. The report represents the fifth edition of a new general reporting format adopted by the AAA in 2009 and implemented by former TAR Senior Editor Steve Kachelmeier. Along with summary statistics on TAR operations, I will continue the tradition that Steve started of offering associated commentary that I hope is helpful to our constituents, particularly the AAA Publications Committee and Board of Directors, as well as readers, authors, reviewers, fellow co-editors of TAR, and AAA members.
